Whats in Your Toolbox?
Lets make a visual toolbox.
You have magic all around you
Sometimes we just need to remember how to tap into it.
We all go through moments in life that feel heavy, and hard. In times like this we all have people, places, and things that help us through and light us up. It’s easy to get caught up in the everyday hustle and forget this. To remember, why not create your own visual toolbox of joy? A personal collection of everything that brings you comfort, inspiration, and support—maybe some flowers, that playlist that feels like a hug, coffee that tastes like sunshine What is it for you?
Here’s a loose guide how to create your own magical inventory—a visual reminder of what you already have or can tap into to feel better:
Step 1:
Write it all down. List the people, places, and things that spark joy and uplift your spirit. This is your spellbook of happiness.
Step 2:
Turn your list into reality. Gather photos, doodles, mementos, or anything that captures the magic.
Step 3: Arrange your masterpiece. Display your collection in a way that feels uniquely you. There’s no wrong way—just follow your heart and play.
My Tool Box
This is a more traditional still life approach to designing your visual tool box.
I also did a flat lay approach and it gave a completely different vibe below. You get to choose how you want to display this.
Me pouring coffee over everything, because lets be real…coffee is everything.
Have fun designing! Make it yours.
